Q&A

What was your favorite book as a child?

One of my favorites was His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman, which I still think about from time to time.

What was the original reason or motivation why you started writing creatively?

I have been keeping a diary since I was six or seven years old, so writing has always been my preferred medium for expressing and understanding myself. I develop much of my poetry from these soliloquies.

What was the most adventurous or thrilling thing you ever did/experienced?

Travelling alone.

Do you listen to music while reading or writing?

I almost never do. Sometimes I jot down a few ideas or write a page in my diary while listening to instrumental sounds, but when I'm properly working on a piece of poetry or a story, I work best in complete silence.
